      i just love the way you photographed this.. did you end up using a pom-pom maker? i need to make some pom-poms this year and i don't know if i want to go the wrap-around-your-hand route.. lol!! is a pom maker worth it if you used one?

      I didn't know there was such a thing as a pom-pom maker.
      I just used a 4" x 3" strip of card board, wrapped it in yarn, carefully cut the top and bottom edges whilst still on the cardboard, and carefully laid them on top of a long piece of yarn. I then CAREFULLY tied the long piece of yarn around the middle and double-knotted it.

      I just had to be very careful about not letting my yarn get all wonky but it was easy once I got the kinks worked out.
