Yellow Tumblers

Yellow Tumblers by Smile And Wave.
Something is not quite right about my mud room display so I'm asking for your advice.
What needs to stay what needs to go. Should I repaint any of the paintable elements? Which display is your favorite?

I like this one the best. The lighter glasses on the shelf balance out the heavier frame and mugs. Great finds!

I like this one the best too but I would hang the mugs facing the same direction. Great little nook!

Hmmm...just a thought, but what about adding some woodgrain contact paper in the back of the frame instead of the cardboard or some vintage fabric or retro print? Or not sure if this would work, as I've never actually used woodgrain contact paper, but is it possible to cover the shelf in it? I know you're a genius with it! I think basically it needs some woodgrain somewhere to mix up the brights. Hope my opinion helps! :)

Hmm ? I like the idea here - I do think that hanging the mugs beside the frame takes the attention away from the frame (which seems to be what you are trying to "showcase"). Also - I would add in some softer elements like flowers, greenery, scarves, etc. And someone mentioned brightening up the background in the frame - maybe with something green to tie in the green peg shelf. How fun! I think I might start taking pictures of my groupings too! Hope this helps.

i like this one, but I would swap out the glasses for the tea tin. I would also put a new background in frame...something with a little green and a little blue. I really love the frame and the fun colors!

I like this one, but I'd add in something soft (as purplepunkdaisy suggested) by putting some flowers in those lovely yellow glasses. That would give you some height next to your frame without pulling your eye away from it. Then (because you wouldn't have any room for them in my scenario) I'd hang all of your pretty mugs on the green pegs below.
