Sky, Bentley, Nina & Blitz

Nina is a Malinois and is 2.5 years old. I have here in my pack since 26 November 2011. She has 1 year and 1 day lived in å animal shelter. Where she was/lived before i don't now yet. I only can speculate what happened the here off the way she is behaving. Acquaintance had here for almost 5 weeks before she comes to me because she and my 2 girls are rutting at the same time. When my acquaintance take here into here house Nina was bald on the back , hip and paws www.hondenpage.com/foto/foto/181774.jpg she has bite here self because she was stressed al the time. She growl and bark very match in the shelter, in the shelter she may lie by the counter whit the staff of the shelter, the first weeks it was alwright but soon she begin to protect the staff members. Then she must again all day in the kennel and again she bite's here self until she was wounded and balt.
When Nina was by my acquaintance she relax and here wounds healed and slowly here hair grows back one.
After 5 weeks I went to get her, a good friend off mine go's whit me also2 off my dogs. We already seen here when she was 2.5 weeks whit my acquaintance, Nina has tremors in here back paws and hips. Hair tail almost to here belly. But how longer we are there she relaxes and that was great to see. I new in a second that i had made the right decision to gave here a home when i saw here for the first time on a photograph on the site of the animal shelter.
So we put here in the car and drive to my hometown. But before we went to my home we go for a walk in the woods. First I heave here one a leash, but not for long, after 10 minutes i set here free, and she stays close to us and looks alert where we went. She listens perfect and we are amazed.
What a trust she has in me, that was for me so very touching. A dog whit that background and than so trusting i can't heardly belived it.

She is now almost 2,5 month whit me and she trusted me more and more. So now and than she has tremors. I give here massage to calm here and that she learnt relax her backhand, I'm convinced that she is in the past servilely beat at here backside. In the beginning when a begin to massage she inshrinks and the tremors where om his wurst. Now she loves it and she totaly relaxes. If i touch her backhand unexpectedly than the tremor starts, here tail to here belly en she makes herself as little as possible.
Thats one of my reasons why I think she is beat many many times on her first year.

She is a adorable, very sweet, trusting, very loyal, sensitive dog and very beautiful. But she is also as I foresaw a spicy dog (she also comes from working lines ) Slowly here personality shows as here confidence
rise in me, my other dogs and the environment. That's what I like and what I want, so i can see what I can do whit and for here.

One thing i'am sure of she has found here home for the rest of here live whit me, my son and my other dogs. I'am grateful and thankful that she came in my life and my acquaintance who takes care of Nina, take Nina in here house and that she arranged everything in the animal shelter that she and the staff members from the shelter have the confidence in me and give Nina in my care.
