Lost Photos?

Lost Photos? by Michael Mistretta.
Losing data is hard. Especially when you had 400 photos from an awesome weekend out, and they are gone in a flash. My Griffin 5-in-1 card reader ate all my pics from last weekend. I'm just recovering from the trauma now. The doctor thinks I'll live.

This is an old photo from a while back. Thankfully, Spring is here in Canada, and I'll get out with the camera later this week for some more shots.

Oh no, that's awful :(

I had a bad experience with a card reader, so now I just plug my camera directly into the computer. I had around 100 photos from an afternoon out. They had been taken successfully as I was viewing them back on the camera on my way home. Popped the card into the card reader and somehow it had chewed them all up, never to be seen again. The card reader promptly found it's way to the trash after that.

i took a trip to Cali to visit my mother, hadn't seen her in a year or so. took loads of pics, got back to my pc... viewed them all. then put the card back in my camera and formatted it.

....the missing step? copying to my computer instead of just viewing

sad sad sad
