We have had good friends and family come to visit us during our time here in San Francisco...two sets of good friends came on a 23rd of the month so I kindly requested that they leave their Muni transfer passes with me :)

I love Chuck Close

I spent many, many hours at the Hirshhorn Museum in DC when Chuck Close had his exhibit there several years ago. If the SJMA was closer and free I'd be there many more times before this exhibit hits the road. It was a lovely display of Close's process, and it had new pieces that I hadn't seen...an incredible paper pulp portrait of Close...and this elaborate wood block print of his daughter...It was all focused on his prints. And it is an incredible exhibit...
