Yes I agree. But in fact there is a grace
and beauty in this garment - its just what we
know about, or hear about, its use as an
instrument of social control, that takes that
away. So its I guess about the statement
you want to make. The black and white
photo makes one statement, and the blue of
the colour pic makes quite another.

Hi @nurse_ouch. It is cropped - I took it
out the front windscreen of our moving car
and had to crop out a truck on the right.

I agree that Burkas do have beauty and grace.
I've noticed that in a majority of photos,
burkas are blue. I wonder why...
