Smug alert! ;P Oh wait, this is a bug, not a hybrid...

@NLJ: lol. actually the whole ad was "Orothodonics for the new generation!" Since I write and yack about Gen Y and technology, I thought I could milk this shot for a presentation or something.
Me, I'm happy to be a Gen X'r. An aging one, but still happy to be samitched in between the pre and post world of the web. Gives us a pretty good perspective on the big picture I think...

I agree, i love being able to say... I owned PONG! :) And i'm still amazed everyday at the evolution of just video games in our time, not to mention the web and all of the wonders it's brought. And I hope you knew that the smug alert was from south park. ;P

Another new genaration? Aren't there enough of them now?
What is this one called anyway? Generation Z? What are they going to do when they run out of letters in the alphabet?

@nj: yep! i love the south park boyz. "you will respect my authorita!" And yep, I agree!
@sm: oh, don't put a quarter in, i'll never stop. but the current crop of kids are Gen Y. I don't know what we do when we run outta alphabet! Is it like hurricanes? We just flip over to the Greek? Generation Delta. Hmm.

this thread is hilarious -- i wonder what generation the south park boys are in? generation fuck fuckity fuckfuckfuck i think...

well...i think given their severe rejection to "authorita", ability to deconstruct and reject the status quo and distain for hierarchal organizational structure(s) qualifies them to be Gen X'rs.
Plus given that Trey and Matt themselves are Gen X'rs, I'm thinking that Kyle, Stan, and Cartman are pretty much a mirror of our generations mores, attitudes, and beliefs.

I'm exactly one day older than Trey Paker. Awwwwww for me. :)
I think you're right debaird. I'm glad that they're around to say the things (in a insanely funny way) that i wish i could. :)
Have you ever seen their student movie, Cannibal - The Musical I HIGHLY recommend it. Besides the fact that one of our good friends (who was going to school with them at the time, in Boulder) is actually IN the movie and was also one of the main cinematographers. :) He's Frenchy, the trapper... It's also just fuckity fuckin' hilarious!!! And then... after you see that, see ORGAZMO! That is, if you haven't seen it already. ;)

@NJ: i tell ya, sometimes when i'm having a crappy day, one of those "South Park: The Movie" songs will pop in my noggin and it will just crack me up and snap me outta the foul mood.
