The National - 1930's 704 east Broad Street

    I thought this might be a timely photo, now that the renovation is almost fully complete and concerts have started taking place. The glory days, not long after completion in 1929.

      Just for the sake of historical accuracy, the National opened in November, 1923.

      Just to point out: the National opened in November '23. Her sister the Colonial opened in October '21. And yes Wheelman: LOTS of cars of the GRTC running on Brilliant Broad Street!!!
