Texas Bluebonnets in April
I love Texas in April. The bluebonnets grow right alongside the highways, giving you something wonderful to look at besides bumpers! I saw this amazing patch while driving down Belt Line south of I-20 here in Dallas at about 9AM. I was hypnotized by the light radiating through the bluebonnets and short grass and waited all week since then for the sun to return! When it did, I hopped in my car and drove the 20+ miles to get here. It was well worth it.
The soft photo effect was achieved in Photoshop using the "Orton" technique: www.pcin.net/update/index.php/2006/11/01/the-orton-effect...
