Dark-eyed junco, puffed up for cold weather

I pretty sure of the ID, given the black head, black bib and beak match one of the many variants in my Sibley's.

Still, if you disagree, please let me know.

I was pretty close, so the details are worth viewing in the Large size.

Kenny Burrell plays YoYo

Westwood Music Center in LA hosted guitar hang to honor luthier extrodinaire Ken Parker. Fred Walecki invited jazz guitar legend Kenny Burrell and Kenny was kind enough to stop by and play some tunes for us. Here, Kenny is playing YoYo, the little brother to my mahogany archtop, "Brownie", literally cut from the same cloth (wood really). The hang was wonderful, as was the resulting music, just as you might imagine.
