Lapland Longspur

Lapland Longspur

This Male busies himself on the snow, seemingly not caring about the temperature.
He was alone doing his foraging. It is said that they been seen in flocks numbering in the thousands. Wow.

Grey Jay

Grey Jay

We never see these in the city. Drive to a park 20 miles away and you will find them there. Not a timid bird and will willingly eat off your hand. Smaller than the Blue Jay.
