A gay couple say they were kicked out of
a Rite Aid story after the store manager
caught sight of them hugging in the
shampoo aisle.
Jason "Jay" Hill of Silver Spring, and his boyfriend, Mike Browne, say they were at the Washington, D.C. Rite Aid at 1306 U St. NW when the store manager saw them hugging. The incident allegedly took place on Fri., Oct. 12, around 10 p.m., according to a story published Oct. 25 by the Metro Weekly.
On Tuesday, October 30th, a group of folks went into the Rite Aid in protest. We hugged each other for about 5 minutes or so.
