can dCap sneak in a colorful shot, hey I removed all apart from one of the colors!

So, there is the thing, my 18yr old washing machine pissed itself to death all over the kitchen floor end of last year ... since then I've been 'popping to the laundry' ... now then, the environmental thing. I could go get a new washing machine, or I could not. its all about not buying stuff, right!

Own Washing Machine
small, on every few days, no dryer (no space), so lots of hanging in the airing cupboard or washing line (bird poo), they are cheap.

Laundry
Is colorful, has a super big drier (which I might be able to get into, ahem), I bring home all my washing, DRY! Now that is magic. And its not at all boring ... must remember something to read though!

Sorry about the washing machine... things like that always seem to give out before, during or just after Xmas!!!

Going to the launderette can be quite a calming experience... and getting your clothes dry adds to that! The one near to Ian's is a strange place... it has a Pool Table in there & I think a Pin Ball machine - it's a pretty big launderette...

I'm just lovin the freedom to shoot with a compact in my pocket, its tip top fun, dialed this one right up to ISO 1600 for the fun of it, love noise!
and they were too :)
pooool table! Wow, must be near the uni? This pic is just about the entire size of this one, there is a bigger/mega one in town (not tried yet) might take an adventure :)

I was driving past a laundrette for the last couple of days and every time I made a mental note to go down and do some shots. Now I see this, it will be hard to top - the washing machines in my laundrette are only boring beige not nice and yellow :-(

This picture is awesome (I'll forgive the yellow cuz it's awesome and bright), but of course we're all expecting an SP of you in a dryer now.

I HATE going to a laundromat. HATE! When I got divorced, I moved out of the house we shared and into a very tiny one-bedroom apartment with no washer and dryer, and I must admit I wore some clothes more often than one really should between washings because it was SUCH a pain to load up the car and drive down there (none within walking distance!)

(also, underwear was worn only once. I'm not THAT gross)

yep, super grainy, ISO 1600 is max plus I messed with the colors some so that always increases the noise level ... just what I needed a compact camera for!
