Fallen Tree On The Appalachian Trail Near Bears Den Rocks

I came upon this tree that had recently fallen across the path of the Appalachian Trail about 2 miles north of Bears Den Rocks. .
Bears Den Rocks is located just a short walk from from the Bears Den Trail Center. Nestled within the Blueridge Mountains and on the Appalachian Trail, the Bears Den Trail Center is owned by Appalachian Trail Conference and operated by Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. Bears Den Rocks is located right in the middle of the "roller coaster" of the Appalachian Trail. A challenging 6 mile hike north on the A.T. will take you to Crescent Rock Overview, which offers a wonderful view of Shenandoah Valley and the opportunity to see rock climbers.
