Reality can be so strange. this is really great. Makes me wonder what is beyond the edges.

Roger, actually I strongly suspect the car was placed there, as part of the 'set' of Memory Lane. The owner, Otis Eldridge, has amassed an astounding collection of memorabilia, mostly from the 1950s. The place is open one weekend a year, when he has a car show on the property. This was that weekend.

Put it on your calendar. They went from one day to two this year, but I suspect Saturday is still the big day.

Eartha, a fellow in Hawkins Co., TN has a fascination with old cars and with the 1950s. So he has transported and constructed a village from that period on his farm. He has a diner he moved from VA, a re-constructed service station, a Sheriff's office like Andy of Mayberry complete with a patrol car. He even built a theatre that has the marquee from the old Roxy theatre in Rogersville. There is much, much more. It is unbelievable! He hosts an old car show there on Memorial Day weekend, which is the only time it is open to the public. It is free to get in, but there is a charge for parking, which goes to charity.

Looks like a scene from the Twilight Zone.
