    At mountain Palm Springs. I found a suitable spot on a ridge about 1/4 mile or so from the southwest palm grove. Not the prettiest campsite but it was flat.

      Very nice boreal starwheel. That area is also known for mysterious lights at night--I wonder if you happened to see any.
