From Arches National Park

A sea of colorful people at the Gateway of India. Unfortunately I have very little time for photography right now so I will probably be trolling my archive for the next month or two in search of photos to post. I took this photo a little over a year ago while on a month long trip to India. There are some elements I really liked in this image particularly the Buddhist walking by and the three girls. There are also lots of quality issues that really bother me. I decided to post it anyway.

Lying down at the base of delicate Arch

With the fisheye. This is a composite of two images assembled in photoshop. The exposure for the sky was shot at ISO 3200 with large amounts of noise reduction in post. The foreground image was a 3 minute exposure shot at ISO 800. I painted the arch with a flashlight. this arch was probably the largest feature I've ever tried to light paint, rather difficult to get uniform lighting!
