This photo includes the buildings along State Street, and is known as Spengler's Corner, a historic district in Jackson. Included in the photo is the oldest building in continuous commercial use in Jackson. It is located on the corner of State and Capitol Streets. It was the site of Spengler's hotel, a 19th century meeting place for state legislators.
