"Colchester on a friday night's a shame"
Some good friends of mine of the 'Fiddler Crab music' record label launched a well planned and sailed protest gig on the roof/overhang of the old cinema building in Colchester. The event was staged in disagreement with new plans to turn the once Odeon cinema yet another greasy, sleazy nightclub in Colchester. As well as this the Fiddler collective, based in Colchester and Ipswich hope this will promote more free gigs without age restrictions, as everyone should have the right to see a performance should they want to, without paying £7+. More pictures soon :)

Colchester always used to be a live entertainment desert- whats changed? If you wanted to see a live band you had to trek out to Essex uni in my day.
