I climbed up this hill to take pictures, hoping to catch a brilliant sunset. The sun, however, was shy, and hid behind a haze of cloud the whole evening instead.
I do this thing where I become so overwhelmed by the unending options for photos in a given location (changing my mind repeatedly about what/where I want to photograph), that I wind up taking only a bunch of test photos at different spots. I was doing so shortly before taking this, and becoming quite frustrated with myself, so I finally just said, "OKAY, you are going to take your photo THERE!" ('there' being this that you are seeing).
The cows on this farm are timid in general, but there's always one amongst the herd that branches out and lets her curiosity lead her (to my camera, in particular). This is Naomi; she sauntered over while I was shooting, and placed her head on the rock for this brief moment. Thank you, Naomi, for being so picture-perfect.
