Birds and Bees of the Amazon Rainforest
In the last 40 years, more new bird species have been discovered in Peru than in all the rest of the world combined. I recently learned where 5 newly named and registered species live and can take you there.

I took these photos from my boats on expeditions using the Amazon River and it's tributaries to get deep into the Amazon Rainforest. To see more photos and read a few stories about my experiences bird watching the upper Amazon check my birdwatching web site at;

For more photos and information about bird watching using Iquitos Peru as our base of operations into the Amazon Jungle please check my main web site at;

Thank you for your interest in my birding and photography hobby.
