Soy House (to eventually be a Habitat for Humanity house in Halton) at the Toronto Royal Winter Fair, Canada © Linda Dawn Hammond / IndyFoto.com 09. Nov.10. '09

Soy products were used in the countertops, the flooring, textiles, etc.
They were most decidedly GMO, but in this form no-one was being coerced into eating them. Still, there remains the question, that in times of world hunger, could soy be put to a better use than the decorative.
That aside, it was a very nicely designed house and I'm sure it will make someone very happy. I believe the price for one of these preconstructed homes, which include a basement and is delivered in 2 sections, is around $189,000.
