Hamilton Pool, Aug 2007

The photos used to build this composite were taken in early August on a day when the pool was open for swimming (as you can see). This time I used an ultra wide lens (Sigma 10-20mm at the wide end) to show the whole curve of the overhang roof. In case anyone is interested, there are 7 stops difference between the two ends of the bracketing used to gather the individual frames for this image. Take a look in my Austin area set for other pictures of Hamilton Pool taken back in 2005. Buy prints of this image on ImageKind. You can find the before and after version of this shot here and the final exhibition version here. This image featured in Flickr Explore for August 25th, 2007. If you like my photos, your vote in the 2009 Photoblog Awards would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
