Lago Mascardi view from the Hotel Mascardi

Just south of Bariloche on Routa 40, is Lago Mascardi. We stopped in for lunch at the Hotel Mascardi on our way to Bolson. The hotel restaurant looks out over the lake. We could not believe the how blue the water was. Just beautiful.

Lagos Hualahue, Steffen and Martín

Three lake views for the price of one. This was down a one-way dirt road off of Routa 40 south of Bariloche. The middle lake has a great wooded beach area and feeds a mountain river popular for scenic class I,II river rafting trips.
