I spent my entire birthday yesterday with Sarah Ann Loreth, Robby Cavanaugh, and Brian Oldham. It was seriously one of the best days of my life.
After Robby, Brian and I picked up Sarah from the airport, we spent 30 minutes catching the crabs that are featured on my face at a random jetty we found. (They were very much alive and crawled all over my face, but only tickled :D) We also found out that Sarah is a fearless crab-catcher, ahaha. She was so bruised up and pinched and stuff by the time we were done... (Sorry Sarah :p)
Then we introduced Sarah to the magic of in-n-out, and drove along the coast to find sea cliffs. The place we found was the best beach location I’ve ever seen, (although we're all still sore from the hike down/up) and the foggy, dreary weather couldn’t have been more perfect. We spent the rest of the day there, shooting photos with each other, of each other, and the like. At one point, Brian, Robby, and I were trying to get a starfish from a crevice near the water, and got completely drenched by a gigantic wave that smashed into Brian. The look of terror on his face was... terrifying.
Spending the day with the three of them was indescribable - they are some of the kindest, most interesting, and talented people I’ve ever been around. Be sure to watch their streams for the images they created, and check the comments below for some fun shots from yesterday!
