Mr Frosty is brought to you by the Maddison family. The body was built by Ben and transported (rolled), the 1/2 km back to the house (it was VERY heavy and my arms still hurt!) Perhaps I should enter it in the next Turner prize.

Cooking Snow

The best thing about the snow is that you can pretend to be an artic explorer without leaving the garden! I tried making a cup of tea with just snow and learnt the following :

1) Remove gloves before collecting the snow (you get little floaty bits of gloves otherwise!)
2) You need to melt a LOT of snow to make just one cup of tea
3) It takes about 8 minutes with a Trangia to make one cup of tea from snow.
4) I need to get out more.
