That's quite a title you dub her! ;)

Her daughter scratched that royal title on her wooden cash box.

So I told her to tell her daughter that that makes her the "princesse de poulet" !

Heh, I guess that's one way to turn you blood blue - confer royal status on your family.

We had a tip from friends to get chicken from the lady at the Bastille market. When we got there there were a few ladies selling chicken, but this woman _is_ The Chicken Lady. She stands around chirping like a chicken and it was clear that this was the lady our friends wanted us to see. Fantastic chicken. We sat down next to a fountain and gobbled the chicken and potatoes with our hands and washed up in the fountain. We did the same again the next day. Best meal in Paris.

I live in French Guiana, in South America and when I go in Paris, I buy the best chickens of this town in the Bastille market.
The best one is "poulet miel/graines de sésame"....It's a "régal"...
So, if you stay in Paris, you have to go in this market shop, where Cathy, the sympathic chicken lady, send you a chicken....
      You'll enjoy...

Cathy prepares a special herb chicken for me when I order it, I love it, and so does my family.
I pick it up every sunday at the Bastille market. True, I pay for the chicken, but Cathys smile
and good humor is free. What a deal!
