just to head off any discussion (we have one every 6 months on curbed or brownstoner)-- yes, it is that pink, and yes-- it's been like that for more than 20 years-- since i was a little kid growing up in pslope!

i actually lived on this street two years ago (Garfield between 7th and 8th) about four buildings up and across from thie pink one, and it was NOT in-fact this pink.
