Cairns afternoon mid tide
Taken across the road from my hotel in the centre of Cairns Esplanade. The tides are very large up this way going out and in many hundreds of meters. A simple photo minimalistic but has something about it that I like. If I like it then that's all that counts.

I saw this Indigenous lady early in the morning then again late in the afternoon still walking around this area. I wonder where she was going.

Cairns Lagoon Pool
I love the contrast between the pool and ocean in the background. It is a local free pool and great for a dip on a hot day.
