Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Lens

This is my new lens, purchased by JPEG Magazine for my entry in Issue 11. (Ok, so they cut me a check for $100 and I went to Penn Camera and bought it. But it's basically the same.) I'll post a few photographs taken with it. I've only had time for about three frames so far, but I already love it. And it will be a challenge—the AF feature doesn't work with the D40 because of its physical build, so I have to manually focus the lens.

The amazingly wide aperture is perfect for low light and wild bokeh.
