Gaming

Of all the dice I had, these brightly-colored "gem" dice were always my favorites. I have other colorful dice, but none as colorful as there. I also loved the crisp, sharp edges of these dice. Most of my other dice had slightly rounded edges.

I haven't played any dice-based RPGs (role-playing games) since I was in high school. But a week or two ago I found a little plastic container loaded up with all my dice. I didn't count them, but I think there were somewhere close to 50 dice in the box. I brought them out for a near-future photo shoot. After digging up a couple of old, blank AD&D character sheets last night, I shot some photos.

What's missing from the photo? Hm... a big bag of Doritos, 2-liter bottles of pop, and Rush's Moving Pictures (on cassette, of course) would make it more complete.

Dragon dice! I'm not afraid to show my nerdiness by admitting that I also have a drawstring bag full of these guys. Great concept shot!

Nice photo. The character sheets really make it, though. D&D flashbacks...

Doritos? I thought all the geeks ate funyons? hehe

Ohhh, Funyons... (drool...) I don't think I had discovered how great they are back then. They're a relatively recent discovery for me. I'm talkin' about the '80s, when Doritos came in just one flavor. You know, Dorito flavored.

Nice DSA dices. Had some, too...but I don't know where they've gone when I moved to this home.

Any change of a big version of this? It would make a great desktop.

I understand this photograph is copyrighted, but would you mind if I borrowed it for a class project? I'm taking a web design course, and my sample site is on gaming. Of course I would cite you and include a link to your profile.

Great pic that brings back some good memories...Aftermath, C&S, Call of Cthulhu etc. A summer afternoon and far too much fizzy pop and caffeine...lol

I actually run a free site with a few flash rpg games on it. Never too late to relive your childhood! :)
