I have included all of the software/hardware and different cameras, lenses, and tools that I use for photography in the About Me section. It also includes some awesome websites that will help you find great places to shoot.
Currently I am putting together a set of 50 great photography destinations in the Pacific Northwest. All locations are geo-tagged, so you can check them out yourself-----> PACNW Top 50
All photos are free to download in high resolution from my website for your desktop wallpaper or other fun & personal stuff like that. This shot was taken from the Women's Forum in the Columbia River Gorge. You can also see the Vista House in the distance.
TIP: How to Catch the Best Light.
Prior to going out to shoot any sunset it is always good to plan where you will catch the best picture from. I use several tools to do this. First of all, Google Earth, this allows the user to see where the sun will actually set/rise on the day you are going to shoot and allows for perfect set up prior to shooting. Second I use Stuck on Earth. Want a great shot? This is the app to use for it. Lastly I use the photoephemeris.com a great app that adds a bit more than Google Earth. Try these out and your next shoot and let me know what you think.
