Currently I am putting together a set of 50 great photography destinations in the Pacific Northwest. All locations are geo-tagged, so you can check them out yourself-----> PACNW Top 50

an obviously striking image, but looks PS'ed somewhat. As an antidote to the reams of pretty, glittering, sparkling, sickly-sweet awards you've won above - I'm giving this:

This is photoshopped and over exposed in flickr. I am disgusted.

oh I know they gonna delete it, because there's too many tags for them, too many groups and comments and favorites. But the PS I like, specially in large. Would be nice in square too but it's nice even now.

Your photoshop antics won't find you any love here. The moon doesn't even look completely circular. Too wobbly around the edges.

That's coz he flew in a rocket to only a few miles from the moon so he could capture all the surface detail.

reminds me too much of that t-shirt with the wolf set against the moon

Interesting...my lenses at f/5.6 just don't have that kind of depth of field. Pretty cool how you changed the laws of physics.

wait...did you use photoshop? eh? maybe?

It's a good idea but not well executed. Edges of the moon aren't smooth and since it's Photoshopped you may as well get the bird's tail in too.

Thanks for the compliments, hotbox seems to be full of hate:) its ok tho.. i dont see any of their stuff gaining any comments or favorites
1. this isn't the hotbox.
2. Do you really equate getting vacuous comments and favs to quality? I can post a piece of shit, add it to the right groups, go on a fav/commenting spree and get 50 comments in a day...make explore...the whole 9 yards. But that won't make the photo any less of a piece of shit.
But hey, I don't wanna burst your bubble, so you just go on thinking that getting 100 comments on flickr means you're great.

This is genuinely one of the few photos I've ever seen that elicited an audible "Woaahh!" out of awe. Great picture, expert capture and well done! :)
