Commonist / copyleft Tshirt

    I'd been meaning to do a Creative Commonist design ever since Bill Gates came up with his ludicrous statement. then I heard Lessig was coming to Edinburgh to speak at the launch of the Scottish Creative Commons licenses. Well, it seemed like the ideal opportunity!

      Wow - I seem to have missed a comment. In response, Oolong, these were his words:

      "I'd say that of the world's economies, there's more that believe in intellectual property today than ever. There are fewer communists in the world today than there were. There are some new modern-day sort of communists who want to get rid of the incentive for musicians and moviemakers and software makers under various guises."

      ...Proving just how poorly he seems to understand the copyfight. I orginally heard about it on this BoingBoing article, and suggest you follow the links to read the whole interview it's originally taken from.
