Nikon F2 with the Nikkor 300mm f4.5 AI lens, on Kodak Portra 400.
A little late with a description, it is in fact a detail of a Polaris A1 ballistic missile on display at Goddard Memorial Park. I had a chance to wander around Auburn a bit on Saturday, while Jessie's flat tire was being repaired nearby. I snap quickies in and around this park occasionally, as it's not too far from the Shire. Flickr frinds have seen pictures of this missile in my stream before, I think.
I haven't produced anything at all with this lens before this (if you can call this a 'product'). 300mm is a bit long for me, so I finally forced myself to shoot a few frames with it by leaving everything else at home for the day. At one time (before the Earth cooled) I had the Olympus OM 300mm f4.5, which was very similar.
