Jarvis

Jarvis and his fellow musicians took up residence in the Village Underground for a few days this week. They provided the soundtrack to everything from yoga sessions to a burlesque class and anyone could just come along, sit down and listen. For certain segments, if you brought an instrument, you had the opportunity to join the band on stage for a song.

Although the residency ended with a live performance on Wednesday night with tickets costing £30, all three days preceding it were free. As I'm rather skint at the moment, and have ample time free during the day, my choice was clear. I had a brilliant time and met some lovely people, which is so different to most gigs I go to these days.
