I got a new camera last week, the Fuji X100. I've wanted one since it came out last year but always found the price a bit too high, but second-hand prices have finally got to a pretty affordable level. I've used the camera a few times since it arrived, and I have to say it's already probably my favourite camera ever. Small, discreet, quick to operate, great viewfinder, manual controls, fast lens, excellent in low light, great image quality, decent built in flash. More or less everything I want in a camera, though the manual focusing is a pain in the arse and the battery life isn't great. Still, nothings perfect.

A few days ago there was either a bomb threat or a hostage situation going on inside the Amarone restaurant, Glasgow. Last time I took a photo of the place things were a bit more peaceful. I can't really be bothered finding out what actually happened and how it ended, but nothing blew up and nobody died, as far as I'm aware.
