Idris: you are so right. Manhattan's skyline is the best. Full stop. Photography does not do justice to it. mine included. I can remember my first time arriving, by bus at night from Boston. We travelled in via Brooklyn and I'll never forget the impression, the first impact of seeing it. We said WOW. A lot.

Here is the weird thing - a lot of my Manhattanite friends have NEVER made it across to Brooklyn Heights. Can you believe that.

Sometimes you should be a tourist in your own city.
