you've got the greatest Olympus collection! in fact, i think Olympus should sponsor you!

Thanks Asja -- I'm really proud of my camera collection and I LOVE shooting them. Hopefully, my skills will improve as I continue to learn more by using them. I've only shot 1 roll with this camera (it's twin needs a little work before I'll be able to shoot with it). I obviously need more practice shooting film, but I'm in no hurry, and I'm having fun! :-)

What a beautiful camera! It looks like the Agfas and Zeiss Ikons of the 40's and 50's. Very nice!

Fantastic camera!!

I like the blue shade of the lens on these old cameras. Kodak Retina has that, too.

Well, it was quite late, and I don't like one liners: The camera is a real beauty, I am in love with folders. And the photo itself is striking. There is a feeling of lushness and quietness like sun after a heavy rain.
daveelmore (37 months ago | reply)
Thanks again Enric, I think the photo definitely creates a mood. The dominant RGB colors are what I like most about this one.

Great to see the old equipment out.
Shooting film? Madness lies there.............................. but, those were the days.
Nice composition.

Which one is this ? The f:2.8 or f:3.5 version ? How do you choose 6x6 or 4.5x6 on it ?
I got one too a few weeks ago ( f:3.5 version ). Functioning still perfect, I guess. I just need to fix a few holes in the bellows and the lens is quite moldy. Already disassembled it, but hard to clean it perfectly :-(( Need to give it a try though.
daveelmore (22 months ago | reply)
Thanks Chi Man -- I haven't shot with this one in a while... I should do something about that :-)
@bokuwanihongasuki -- this is the 2.8 version. To change from 6x6 to 4x6 you have to use the (often missing) removable plate. You put the plate in before you load the film. The plate basically crops the FoV and you get four more photos per roll of 120. Good luck with yours -- it's a really great camera. I've always had good results with mine.
