More Chair-O-Planes (B&W this time)

Photographed with a Canon Digital Rebel through a Kodak Duaflex at the Alameda County Fair in California.

I post processed this in Canon Digital Photo Professional to desaturate and increase contrast.

We call these things Chair-O-Planes in Ireland but I am not sure what they are called in the US. Wikipedia says they are also called swing carousels or wave swingers but I have never heard these terms.

there was one of these rides in Norwich recently, it was just called 'the swinger'

We just call it a "swing ride" here in the states.. The closest you will feel to really flying when the ride gets to it's peak height.

@munkt0n, A Kodak Duaflex is a TLR like camera from the 1950s.

I used photoshop to convert the color photo to black and white and adjust contrast. Other than that, it is what the camera saw. You can see my set up here.
