Those who live in flooded areas must get to/from their homes in these if they wanna stay dry.

Since these areas haven't been submerged in timely memory. All these boats were with materials at hand and are brand new.

After spending a day in line getting relief goods. It's time to go home.
These were all shot in Mercedes Ave in Pasig. A full week after typhoon ketsana (ondoy), most of Pasig is still under floodwaters.
This startled the beejezus out of me when it floated by.
What normally I could walk in 15 minutes took a better part of an hour coz wading in water is...
These taxis charge 50 pesos (around 1USD) for a short 1km trip to keep you dry.
Scenes like these are commonplace in Pasig now.
Ingenuity is the mother of invention.
Flatbed trucks are also used to ferry people across floodwaters to get to/from their homes.
Don't believe the signs! They are there to mark deep potholes submerged in floodwater so you don't fall and lose your step.
Normally, the water level under these bridges are a good 10 feet below.
Probably my best shot of the entire set. It just says so much and tells a story on it's own.
I bet the makers of these airbeds never intended them to be used for this.
