Day 85 - Will Flickr For Food

This is not quite a copy cat of
»Chaparral [Kendra]'s photo, since she has Jackie O goggles and I don't. I think of it more as "A Tribute."
Yeah, that's the ticket.
This is also a demonstration of the new mylar origami diffuser that I copy catted from the orange one used yesterday. The flash is positioned to camera left, about midway between the camera and me. I used a floor can/uplight to illuminate the red wall 4' behind me. I think the overall effect is pretty cool.
Of course, I used my old friends the eBay remote and the IR shutter release.
This is my eighty fifth photo for
365 Days . The
Strobist group is quite the inspiration for off-camera flash ideas.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think
there are enough Flickr addicts that we could
start a support group. Of course, it would
be on Flickr, so it would be
self-defeating....
