Another view from the top of Shio-mi-zaka. This is the highest point in the whole Imperial Palace complex. I have no clue what the building we are looking at is for.

I'm not sure what this mural of wooden plaques was for, but I think it had something to do with a wish for peace.
UPDATE - I found out that these tubs hold sake offerings from companies and individuals for the kami honored here.

The last picture I snapped, taken from the subway station before we headed back to Yokohama. The next day, we left for Konsai airport and home. This trip was remarkable. We had so many wonderful experiences. It's difficult to describe just how incredible it was. I can't wait to go back someday!
