Picket Frigate Prometheus

No relation to the upcoming movie of course. After doing so mostly Homeworld/Peter Elson inspired Microspace. I wanted to do an homage to Studio Nue and Kazutaka Miyatake in particular.

Thanks Tim, are you on summer break now? It's nice to see you have had some time to build.

Simply stunning. Your design's proportions and details look better than most movie ships. Especially the movie Prometheus' crappy looking swing vector nozzle design. Your other Lego ships are also amazing. Great work! I liked your Rick Dias with Dom head model as well.

when I stumbled across your photostream "Peter Elson's" paintings came to mind. I had a couple of books when I was a kid in the 70's that had some of his paintings in. I recently managed to find those books second hand on the internet (one shipped from USA to UK) reliving my childhood :-)
