Mountain Goat kid making a cliff look like flat ground. Watching these amazing animals negotiate impossible terrain is truly a pleasure to observe. This is in the Snake River Range outside Alpine Wyoming.

Fantastic shot!
The only time I have ever seen these guys they were tiny white dots on a far away mountainside. You had to believe your mind not your eyes.

Get up there ASAP, I have been seeing them every time I go through, sometimes they are too far away to photograph, sometimes they are close. I drive by all the time so I can pick and choose when to shoot but if you are making a special trip bring some snow shoes or xc skies because sometimes they are recessed back up the canyon. I should go in after them my self so I can get some divirsity.
If you wait to long they may head high again.
