Wonderful...

Besides RAW file processing using Adobe RAW plug-in, no post-processing was applied to alter this image in anyway.

this is an example of combining the use of colored optical filters, and the great advantages of shooting in RAW mode (which, in my opinion, is the best thing that ever happened to photography after the digital evolution)

It was actually simple, I used a Cokin filter holder that allows for multiple filters.. and I inserted a 1-stop graduated neutral density, and a strong orange sunset filter. and took 1 exposure.
... I then opened the RAW file and adjusted the white-balance toward very warm color temperatures, decreased my exposure using the exposure compensation, and boosted both saturation and contrasts to the maximum.

and that was the result :)

I can tell u my view about this. I see it is very different work than the others u have uploaded, the colors are so saturated especially the red on the rocks. it makes the picture more like cartoon than real world. I dont mean negative or positive statements. The bottom line is that u have produced different work :)
btw I really like the tones fading.

If I may explain, any person who shoots in " RAW " mode has to use software to process the source DATA into a JPEG or TIFF image. It is a known standard, that processing RAW files is NOT considered to be "post-processing" at all.
When you shoot JPEGs in your camera, the camera processor applies certain algorithms to the sourec DATA from the sensor before saving them on your memory card, some of these algorithms are based on the settings of "saturation, sharpness, contrast, white balance, ....etc" you chose in your camera menu.... that's why JPEGs look alot better on the LCD of your camera, than RAW images (at least, in most cases they do).
however, when shooting is RAW format, the source DATA goes from the camera sensor directly into the memory card, NO algorithms are applied what so ever. The reason is to give the photographer the power to apply those algorithms later on to the source data; therefore, creating an original image.

post-processing is a term used to define any alterations to processed source DATA.... JPEGS or TIFF. Developing RAW files is NOT in anyway considered to be post-processing. All the adjustments applied to this image were done using RAW adjustment tools in Adobe Raw Plug-in.

note: all major photography competitions ask for the RAW files to be submitted. If the RAW file matches the output image, then it is considered to be a genuine image, and is a legal participant in the competition.

I understand that the change you made with photoshop are not considered post-processing. so your statement should read "photoshop (or any other imaging software) was not used to post-process this image in any way". alter is not a well defined word in this context.
