Dial

Dial by DarrylW4.
Inside the Saline Depot Museum they have this old Candlestick phone. They seem to have fitted it to work on their current phone system too. I love these things and would like to have one as a display item, but the last thing I need is more stuff to clutter-up the apartment. So I'll be happy to take photos when given the chance.
(I also want to thank I am Jacques Strappe for inspiring us to visit Saline through her photostream.)

I also remember these type of telephones. No buttons and hard on the fingernails!

You know its amazing how these old Western Electric telephones go on forever, and never stop working. I have a Western Electric Model 302, made in October, 1948. This phone is built like a tank! Sadly, I have thrown out over a dozen phones that I have bought over the years, but this old phone is a real champ!
