Down Street disused station
|
A real treat. Closed in 1932 and used as
one of Churchill's offices in World War
II, Down Street is one of the many
disused stations on the Tube. With
enormous thanks to a couple of very nice
people from London Underground, plus
others who invited me along, I managed
to join a group which spent a Friday
lunchtime exploring this forgotten part
of London's history.
Plus... video!!
