I can't say enough about Iguazu Falls. It is one of mother nature's true wonders. Earlier in the day I was really worried we were going to be late for our flight from Sao Paulo to Iguazu, but luckily we made it as we only had 2 nights at this location. I was able to start walking through the park around 345pm that first day. The light/sky at that time was extremely bland, but that didn't bother me as I was still awed by the views. As the evening progressed clouds began to move in and I knew I would have an opportunity to catch some decent light. Like a kid in a very big candy store, I spent that last hour+ happily running up the trail every so often plopping down the tripod and putting the ND Grad to work. Definitely one of the most memorable photography experiences, and I only wish I had more time in this great locale.
Single exposure with ND-Grad. You'll notice the mist that slightly obscures the view. Needless to say, this is an extremely misty (and in some places drenching wet) location. That will become more apparent in subsequent posts.
Thanks for looking!
