I see you got the 50 mm. Great shot. Its a bargain of a lense isnt it. I love the DOF it produces. Great image

i got it on saturday - i couldn't resist. I love it. The DOF is, indeed excellent!!
The next lense I get is the sigma 10-20mm. Although it's about 9 times the price of the 50mm it's still a bargain.

Thats interesting. I have traded up to the canon Pro series L lenses. They cost me an arm and both my legs. But they are 2.8 constant all the way through when zooming on both the wide angle and telephoto. I will be interested in seeing more results from your 50mm. Its such a cool potrait lense. Your sigma results will be interesting to see also.
